Dysmantle
I beta tested all three DLCs for 10Tons’ Dysmantle. While my main focus was finding bugs and providing feedback, I also did additional work for the company to help improve the playability of the game.
Two bosses in the third DLC, the Lab Guardian and the Beast of Timber, used identical models with identical attack patterns. I redesigned both models and gave a new attack pattern to the Lab Guardian so that it would be more unique to the environment it came from.
Additionally, the Collections tab in game had never been organized in a way that made sense to players. I reorganized the files for all Collections so that this would no longer be the case. Materials were now grouped by rarity and type, and the Crafting tab was grouped by Type, Level/Unlock Requirement, and Equipment Slot Location. It greatly improved the readability of the game, and questions about what players were missing in the 10Tons Discord server went down after these changes were made.
